Will Barack Obama Win The 2012 Presidential Election?

The political cost of overhauling the health care system turned out to be higher than President Obama had expected. American voters bruised by economic hardships handed a crushing defeat to the Democratic Party in the US mid-term elections. Even a strong Jupiter could not help the President this time. President Obama is in Jupiter Main Period and Rahu sub period from Feb 2010 to July 2012. Transit Jupiter was weak and badly afflicted by transit Saturn during the months of May, June, July, August, and September 2010. US Economy showed no signs of improvement, and was the main reason of Democrat's defeat.
Transit Jupiter will be strong next four months until Mar 10th 2011. This will still be a good period for President Obama as main period lord Jupiter will be strong by transit. But Obama has a difficult road ahead and will face new challenges between Mar and Sept 2011. Mahadasha lord Jupiter will again come opposite transit Saturn during the months of March, April, May 2011, not good at all. During this time Mercury, Venus, Sun, and Mars will also be in Pisces along with Jupiter directly in the fire power of transit Saturn from Virgo. During this time the sub period lord Rahu in President Obama's astrology chart will also become unfavorable as Rahu will be transiting Ketu's nakshatra and Ketu will be transiting Mars nakshatra, the badhaka planet for President Obama, from Feb 2011 to Oct 2011. These are very Sensitive months for Obama and the United States. Finally mahadasha lord Jupiter will again come opposite Saturn one last time during December 2011, January, February, and March 2012. This will be again a very difficult period for Obama. This will also be a very difficult period for Vice President Joe Biden. During this time the Administration may seriously think of replacing him with a new Candidate for the 2012 elections. In nutshell President Obama will not be able to accomplish much in his first term. President Obama's approval ratings will continue to drop during this time. There will be no improvement in the economy and the unemployment rate will continue to stay high.
After July 2012 the momentum will again shift in favor of President Obama as he will come out of 12th lord Jupiter's mahadasha and will enter ascendant lord, and 2nd house lord Saturn's mahadasha. Saturn is a very good planet for President Obama. At the same time transit Jupiter will enter Taurus sign on May 16th, 2012, and will start aspecting the natal position of Saturn and Jupiter in Capricorn in Obama's astrology chart. This will be excellent time for Obama when luck will be on his side once again. President Obama's approval ratings will go up after June/July 2012, and the public opinion will again shift in his favor just before 2012 elections. Hillary Clinton will replace Joe Biden for the Vice President's position in 2012 elections. Obama will win 2012 elections very easily and will get re-elected as the President of United States for the second term. Year 2013 and 2014 will be the golden years in Obama's second term and for United States. The economy will be doing better in US, and President Obama will solve many domestic and international problems during this time. Obama will be able to end the two wars and bring troops home during this period. Obama may even win another Nobel Prize or some kind of award during this time. During this time Jupiter will be transiting Gemini sign from May 30th, 2013 to June 18th, 2014, and will aspect transit Saturn in Libra, the mahadasha lord in Obama's chart, by its 5th aspect.
Obama will run out of luck between Oct 2014 and Dec 2015 when transit Saturn will be in Scorpio. Saturn in Scorpio will aspect all important planets in his astrology chart while Obama is in Saturn's mahadasha. Transit Saturn in Scorpio will aspect the natal position of ascendant lord Saturn and 12th lord Jupiter in Capricorn by its third aspect, the natal position of the 7th house lord Moon in Taurus sign by its 7th aspect, and the natal position of Rahu and 10th house lord Mars in Leo sign by its 10th aspect. During this time President Obama will find it very difficult to complete his second term. The enemies of the United States are represented by the 7th house in Obama's chart. The lord of 7th house Moon is in Taurus sign at 10 degrees in Obama's chart. When Saturn goes to 10 degrees in Scorpio which will happen three times between Oct 2014 and Dec 2015 will be a very sensitive time for President Obama and the United States.

Essential Skills For Medical Students

Getting through medical college is a phenomenal endeavor. Not only does it require intellect, hard work and determination, it also requires correct skills for studying. You have to have a strategy for worming your way through the mountains of notes and the mounds of books. Just imagine - one subject requires tons of reference material; now there are numerous subjects and the amount of reference material that has to be referenced simply defies imagination. Now this would be a herculean task for even a genius. As such, a smart way to maximize your learning is essential and this article presents you with some of them.
1. Which Books Are Recommended By Your Professor?
Typically, this will be provided in your course syllabus. These are the books that should receive your undivided attention. They come first. Get those books. If your finances permits, get three additional references on the same subject. For those who lack the means, the library is the best alternative. Make it a point and your level best to go through all the books listed. Start on your reading even before college commences. Keep ahead in the reading. This will help you when the subject comes up for discussion in class. You'll understand the Professor better. Your advance reading could also impress your professor and you could thus get into his good books.
2. Don't Cram
Cramming is not worth it. It is one of the major causes of a mental block. Unless you "understand" and "study" a subject you'll never learn it. Make it a point to study every day. Medical subjects are awfully interesting. Just imagine studying about the circulatory system; about the flow of blood through the left and right auricle, pumped around by the heart to and from every part of your body. Awesome, isn't it? Unless you are genuinely interested in a subject you cannot learn it.
3. Understand The Material That You Are Committing To Memory
Understand a concept before you commit it to memory. Word for word memorizing never helps. Read it first, understand it and then try to condense it in your own words so that you can explain it back in your own terminology. Reading it aloud and writing it down helps you reinforce the material into your memory. You see it, hear it and write it, three fold fortification.
4. Mnemonics Are Of Great Help
Mnemonics are of great help in storing and recalling the stored information. Especially lists. It is something like creating an abbreviation, something that you can easily remember. For instance, FOG for Flow of blood, Oxy-hemoglobin and Globin. The more imaginative and funny the association the easier to recall.
5. Use Real Material
When you are studying about bones in your anatomy class, get hold of a genuine skeleton and study it. Go to the laboratory and touch and feel them in your hands as you spell out their names. If it is going to be a heart, get a model of a heart and study it as if you are going to explain it to a class.
6. Organize Your Notes
Use highlighters. Highlight major points with a bright color of your choice and the minor ones with another distinct color. And visualize them. This will help you remember. Rewrite your scribbled notes into neater ones. Organize them. Bullets and numbering are more easy on the eyes. Keep your sentences short and simple. These two practices will help you remember more easily. Visualize them. By rewriting your notes and visualizing them you are reinforcing the same material twice into your memory. Prepare an outline for every chapter. As you read and prepare you will understand the matter more and even more when you condense them for review during exams.
7. Set Up A Time Table
Prepare a timetable and allocate specific time periods for your studies and allocate more time for the tougher subjects. Stick to the timetable. Find out the best time that you can study and study during those time periods. The timetable should be broken down with allotments for assignments etc. Plan for any additional work load should the need arise.
8. Use the Read, Summarize and Evaluate (RSE) Technique
Creating associations with events or objects in everyday life to the summarization of the topic of study is the way to memorize and learn. Visualization of the event or the object reinforces the association. Make meaningful associations that are based on your own experiences. For example, for the digestive system you could associate it with a factory that takes in all the needed material(food, nutrients),processes them through separate units of machinery (stomach, intestines, etc.) and discards the wastes (the excretory system).
9. Counseling By Either Your Professor Or Others
If even after following all the above methods you find yourself still swamped by your lessons, get help from either your classmates or from your Professor. The formation of study groups where one topic is taken up discussion helps everyone in the study group. There should be active participation and contribution from each member of the group. A Q & A session will be very much helpful. Make it a point to see that all the questions are answered. Acquiring these skills is not an easy matter, and the worst enemy is giving up. You do not acquire skills overnight. Set yourself a goal. Try to achieve that target. Reward yourself when you achieve the goal. Do it again and again till it becomes second nature to you. You can do it, many before you have done it

Using Astrology to Predict the Euro 2012 Winner

Can astrology be used to predict sports? Can it be used to predict who the winner of the Euro 2012 will be? The idea of predicting sports events has drawn astrologers and betting enthusiasts since the days of the Roman chariot races.
Sometimes astrology is used not only to predict sporting events but even to influence the decisions of the coaches when training and choosing their squad. The most famous example that springs to mind is French coach Raymond Domenech, who has admitted that a passion for astrology has impacted his squad selection. The coach, who himself is an Aquarius with Virgo rising, cut some Scorpio and Leo players from his team based on their star signs.
Things did not really go Domenech's way during the 2010 World cup in South Africa, but he isn't the only public figure to rely on readings of the stars, But does it work? How would you go about doing it?
Obviously all sports differ and the astrological consideration will be different for individual sports and team sports as well the skills and conditions necessary for victory in different team sports; soccer and baseball are markedly different games and therefore the astrological signs to look for should be different.
The most simplified approach usually taken is the modified exercise in horary astrology. Horary astrology is an ancient branch of horoscopic astrology by which an astrologer attempts to answer a question by constructing a horoscope for the exact time at which the question was received. Different aspects of the chart are chosen to represent the two sides, whether home team vs. away team, favorite vs. underdog, or whatever is appropriate to that particular contest. The planetary rulers of the signs on those teams are evaluated and the side with the strongest astrological indications is generally declared the winner.
Another approach astrologers use to predict sports focuses on the birth charts of the competing parties. This will include the date of birth of the players and manager, the time of the game, the position of the moon during the game, etc... Using these variables they will attempt to determine who is best supported or worst affected by the astrological conditions during the match.
We cannot go into detail as to all the different signs and astrological figures used by some astrologers, but we can take a standard astrological approach for soccer/football and in particular, who will win the Euro 2012 Championship which will be held in Poland and the Ukraine from June 11 until July 1st.. One such simplified approach would be to use colors as being astrological significant.
Lists of colors to indicate clothing and objects signified in horary charts are given by most medieval astrologers. Some lists vary and there are some overlaps but generally the choice depends on shade and texture. For example: rich shades of purple are associated with Jupiter and the Sun, pale ones with Venus and the Moon.
Using these lists we can see which team colors will be the "strongest" during the time when the matches are played. The group stages will be played from June 8, 2012 until June 19,2012, with the knockout stages being held on June 21-june 28. The final will be played on July 1st, 2012.
During the group stages from June 8 to June 11 Jupiter will be in Taurus. The strong colors for this time are: green, yellow, white and light blue. Teams wearing these shirt colors are: England, Germany, Greece, Poland, Ireland, Italy, Sweden and Ukraine. On June 11 Jupiter will enter Gemini. The strong colors are: yellow, green and orange. Teams wearing these shirt colors are: Holland, Ireland, Sweden and Ukraine. From June 25 until the final on July 1st Jupiter will be in the sign of Cancer. The strongest colors at this time are green and white.
Using these simplified color charts and the dates the matches are played we can see that Ireland, which play in both green (home jersey) and white (away jersey) will have the strongest astrological benefits in regards to their jersey colors for this championship, but will they win the Euro 2012??? That remains to be seen...
